The Khachkar Park is located , not far from the Republic Square metro station. The park was put into operation on October 11, 2014. The Khachkar Park is fully provided with outdoor lighting and three fountain complexes. There are 17 khachkars installed here. The khachkars are reproduced from the original khachkars of Western Armenia, Old Julfa. Recall that Khachkars are included in the list of intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO.
