Description

Andranik Ozanyan was one of the main figures of the Armenian liberation movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
 During the First World War, Andranik Ozanyan began to fight against the Ottoman army in Western Armenia. Thanks to the liberation movements, volunteers saved thousands of Armenians.
In 1919, Andranik Ozanyan left Armenia, traveled around Europe, and finally settled in the USA, in the city of Fresno.
The monument to Zoravar Andranik was erected in 2002 in front of the Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator.
