Zikatar reserve is located near Koghb village of Noyemberyan community. The reserve has an area of 150 ha and is 1250-1650 m above sea level. The special protection objects of the reserve are the unique fauna and forest vegetation of the high mountain forest ecosystems of the northern Armenian slopes of the Dzigkatar peak. The ecotourism visitor center has been established in the reserve by the World Wildlife Fund with appropriate conditions.
