Poloz Mukuch was born in a family of craftsmen. He was Avetik Isahakyan's classmate. It was called "Poloz" because of its height. The name of Poloz Mukuch has been associated with many fables and sarcasm created in the Armenian environment, which before were attributed to foreign fables. The statue is located in the yard of the Holy Savior Church.
