Description

The house-museum of one of the most beloved Armenian artists, Minas Avetisyan, was founded in 1982. The famous artist was born in this village.

The building was destroyed by the 1988 earthquake, and the museum reopened after reconstruction in 2003, including the collection of the Yerevan studio, which has been a branch of the National Gallery since 1979.
The museum exhibits 12 paintings, 8 graphics and 12 theatrical designs. The works of the artist and his contemporaries are exhibited in the museum.
At the exhibition, you can see Minas Avetisyan's paintings and personal belongings. The number of canvases exceeds 30, and it is the artist's largest collection
