The Aparan Reservoir is located in the upper part of the Kasakh River, in the Aragatsotn region. The reservoir is considered the largest artificial one in Armenia, covers an area of 7.9 sq km. A strong dam with 50 m height and 210 meters length can withstand the strongest water pressure during floods.
