"Mendz Er" cave is located on the road leading to Sanahin-Sarahart district of Alaverdi city of Lori region, which has already become one of the most visited tourist centers of Lori. Levon Paranyan, a resident of the Sanahin-Sarahart district, is the author, builder and director of the cave-cafe "Mendz er".
The previously inhabited cave, which later served as a hideout and then as a cattle ranch, is now presented as a museum.
Tools, plates of the 9th-10th centuries are placed inside the cave. Using mannequins and dolls, the process of spinning thread, grinding flour, the life and daily life of an old farmer from Lorets are depicted.
